The 100 Very Best Restaurants for 2014

November 1, 2014 A $250-per-person modernist joy ride with José Andrés at the wheel. A $12.50 takeout box of the crispiest fried chicken we’ve ever tasted. Those are two ends of the wild and colorful spectrum of our critics’ favorite places to eat this year. In between, there are some terrific newcomers (a couple of which landed in our ranked list of the top 25 restaurants), fabulous splurges and affordable gems, and plenty of other reasons to get excited about going out to dinner. The list is obviously VERY long. Too long to put in a blog. I mean, really. We’re just thinking of YOU, our beloved readers! So, if ya got a minute to spare (and we hope you do!), check the list out at this link right here (but be sure to come back!): http://www.washingtonian.com/projects/dining/100Best2014/index.html See any favorites on the list? Know of a restaurant that SHOULD have made the list? Well, don’t just sulk about it…tell us! I think you know what to do: leave a comment, share, like. We’re all ears! …
